1st Grade
Students will be exposed to the Visual Arts by learning the basics of the elements and principles of design-line, shape, color, form, texture, proportion, pattern, balance, rhythm, repetition, emphasis, movement, variety, and unity. They will experiment with different applications and develop kinesthetically through practice. Students will also begin critiquing their work as well as the work of other artists.
